Yumekirara School is growing with increasing number of students! This year, we have 18 graduating students. Of that number, 17 students are continuing to our cram school. As of now, almost 20 upcoming students are enrolled in April and we have a number of students who are scheduled to have a trial lesson.
How are we maintaining these students?
I think a great factor is gaining both the students’ and parents’ trust. At Yumekirara School, we always want to give our utmost service to our customers and we greatly value their satisfaction. We follow a curriculum that makes our students equipped to interact in English; achieve their goals of passing the EIKEN or preparing for entrance exam; be able to talk to foreigners, especially when they are abroad; and become responsible students capable of leading and self-studying.
What makes our school different from others?
Teachers at Yumekirara are using differentiated instruction which means that we’re teaching in a way that matches our students’ needs, interests, and multiple intelligences. Our lesson plans are designed with content or the necessary knowledge or skill that students need to master, process or activities done to master the content, and product or meaningful demonstration of acquired skill.
What activities appeal to our students?
As English teachers, we always take pride to know that our kids feel happy on their stay at our school even those who attended our trial lessons. We believe that it’s the first thing they should learn – to enjoy the process of learning another language. Because this will immensely motivate them to join English lessons.
Yumekirara offers educational trips such as a day at the zoo, strawberry-picking, and summer camps. Surely, students will be greatly immersed in our English-based activities.
Here are some of my pictures taken on our events.
We also have weekly craft and activities that are seasonal and timely. For instance, last Christmas, they wrote a letter to Santa with their desired presents. This new year, students are writing their goals in a rocket-shape paper and will launch it to our outer space wall. We have presentations of events and festivals where students learn more about New Year, Valentines’ Day, Children’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Star Festival Halloween, and Christmas to name a few. We also do country research in which students learn certain facts about other countries. And of course, there are weeks to enjoy foreign games!
Thus, if you’re a parent who values the importance of English learning to your children, why not consider enrolling them at Yumekirara School? We look forward to teaching your children at our school.
