This new year, let us search for the Light that does not only feed and suffice our sight. Let’s look for the Light that will enable us to see not only visual things, but a vision of order in times of chaos. The Light that will let our eyes see not only those tangible things, but the Light that sends fire to our spirit to let us fulfill and achieve our goals – our burning bush of desire. Let us search for the Light that does not only allow us to perceive things as how they look, but the Light that guides us in darkness and uncertainties. Let’s follow the Light that distinguishes right from wrong. Let us search for the Light that does not only give off brightness, but the Light that sends in hope. Let’s find the Light that whispers that there are good things to hope for.
My first attempt in searching this Light, was when my family visited Toshogu Shrine in Nikko. I prayed that this Light finds me and guide my family this entire year.
Here are some photos my husband took while we were in Nikko.
I know that you also prayed something for yourself and your family. Let’s work on achieving our goals this year!
