Spring Brings Blissful Memories

Lovely are the flowers

That bloom in spring

Adorning the streets

With petals hovering

I wish time would freeze

As I was standing still

Not minding the chilly breeze

And the shutter closed

Sealing blissful memories

I wrote this poem around this time two years ago. This photo was taken from my husband when we had a trip in Nagoya. I chose this photo because it clearly shows how I felt when I wrote my poem. Flowers, in all sizes and colors are all beautiful especially in spring. After the winter snow withered or dried almost all plants and trees outdoor, flowers bloom sending good vibes and energy to those who see their lovely petals. I hoped I could stop the moment we had while we were walking around the lovely streets in Nagoya.
