I’ve been assigned to do conversation classes with our Juku students. They were my former students at Yumekirara school. It was nice to have them again. I’m happy to see how they’ve grown on the way they answer my questions in a ten-minute class.
Last week, we had self-introduction. I made a template on how they can easily introduce themselves. Then, we played a roulette of questions to get to know each other more. I also prepared game I’d like to call as “talk and connect the web.” Here, they would ask a question about the word written on the card they picked from the can. Then, they would use the yarn to make a web. This web is a “connection” we built while asking each other questions. I was surprised to see them speak more comfortably. They could now express themselves in English using a wider range of vocabulary.
Each week, we’ll have different conversation activities. We’ll have Q and A, English conversation games, and EIKEN interview practice.
I’m excited to learn more about them and share our thoughts and opinions about different topics.
